Sex toy review time! I have been working with Bestvibe for a while and I still keep finding toys in their assortment that I would like to try out. I am definitely a wand-girl. But I also like to be playful, and looking at the Lifelike Thrusting Vibrating Silicone Realistic Dildo from Bestvibe, I was quite sure that I was in for a a fun time! I have always wanted to give a proper fuck-machine a go, and this seemed close to that fantasy.

The Numbers and Technicalities

The dildo comes in a very fancy looking box, almost as if it were a gift. It has magnets to close the lid and a wonderful golden print. Inside the box, under some tissue paper, you can find the toy, a charger and a user manual. The manual is in three languages (English, French and Chinese), explains how the toy works and describes the product details.

The toy is made out of soft body-safe silicone (the toy itself) and ABS (the handle). Altogether it is 29 cm long, of which 13-16 cm are insertable (depending on the mode you use). The biggest diameter is 3,8 cm. It weights 300 grams and is waterproof.

It has three different buttons: an on/off button, one that controls the vibrations, and a third one to control the thrusting. You need to hold any button for two seconds, then a blue LED frame around the button lights up. There are ten different vibration modes to pick from, and there are six telescopic thrusting modes (some of those also include a rotating tip).

Charging the toy is very simple. At the bottom of the handle is a charger point (magnetic) and all you need to do is attach the cable and then find an USB port. It takes about two hours to fully charge. The battery time is about an hour (if you have it running for the whole hour).

You can use it with waterbased lubricant and cleaning is simple: use showergel or 1:10 sanitizer and water, and then pat it dry. It should be stored somewhere cold and dry.

The Look and Feel

The dildo is odorless and has a very soft feel to it. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t also hard. The core of it is very hard and when you hold it in your hand, it feels substantial. The handle is pleasant to touch and not difficult to hold on to. The testicles are harder and heavier than the real deal, but they help to give the toy a bit more of a genuine look. The designers were very focused on detail with the dildo. The head looks very real, and the tip even has the opening. The dildo has a veiny look and feel to it, and feels very pleasant to have your hand run up and down on.

While the handle is easy to hold on to, and the dildo has a good size and life-like shape, during play I found it difficult to navigate the buttons. They are at the down side of the handle. When you use the toy right (balls in the right place), you can’t see the buttons at all. So you need to blindly try to figure out which button is for what. I accidentally turned it off a few times, and also suddenly had thrusting when I wanted vibrations. It might just take a while to get used to though, and once you remember which button on which side does what, you just automatically click right.

Both the girth and length are pretty much in the middle range and I assume satisfactory for most women. I personally would have preferred a a couple of more centimeters on both, if I were asked. The feel of the dildo inside my body is very pleasant. The vibrating mode it is also quite silent. But once you click into thrusting mode (especially when you pick one of the rotating modes), there is a pretty distinct mechanical sound.

The Experience

But the big question is: did it get me off? – Yes, yes, it did! After I figured out how all the different modes worked and had my lube handy, I went for it. I always need a bit of clit-play before going all in and inserting toys into my vagina. The dildo has a vibrating option and using the head of the toy, I managed to get a few small orgasms in before trying out the thrusting option. I must add that there are only two vibration strengths (the rest are different modes), so if you can only orgasm with very strong vibrations, then this toy might not work for clit orgasms for you. But once I have had those orgasms, I really wanted to feel something inside. And I found it pretty handy that I was already holding the right toy for that.

I slowly pushed the toy inside me and then lied back comfortably. I first tried out the slowest thrusting option. which was a pretty good warm up for the faster mode and then later the faster thrusting and even rotating head options. And I could slowly build it up, also adding a vibration, all while not having to move much at all. All I had to do what to hold on to the handle and enjoy! I really liked that comfort, and after a few minutes of trying out the different modes and options, I settled for a fast thrusting and a rotating head, without any vibrations. And I had an orgasm pretty fast. I am blessed with the ability to have vaginal orgasms and I know where my g-spot is. So all I had to do was to angle the dildo right and off I traveled into orgasm-land.

When my partner came into the bedroom to see what all the commotion was about (the toy is not silent when in thrusting mode), he decided to hold the toy for me, and who am I to say no? It was a strange situation, somehow. Neither of having to move much, or to do much work, and still, I got fucked pretty hard. This led to other toys being involved and later some good fucking without the need of a dildo! So the toy is definitely fun when you want some alone-time. Once I had all the modes figured out, and knew which button was doing what, I could just lie back and let it do its thing. The feel is nice, it is easy to hold and I found it easy to charge and clean as well. I personally would have preferred a bit more length and girth, but that is really personal preference. If you don’t have any access to a real penis and have a need for some real thrusting, this toy is definitely a good option.
