Sexy Songs: Closer by Nine Inch Nails

Every week I am writing a post about sexy musiic: songs that are great to fuck to or fantastic to play in the background while engaging in BDSM play! If I could, I would write love songs about Trent Reznor’s genius. He is the mastermind behind Nine Inch Nails and I don’t think I have ever listened to a song of his that I couldn’t appreciate. The music of Nine Inch Nails has been described as industrial rock. There are guitars, there is the rock’n’roll attitude, but there is also some electronica involved.

So, if you went to any goth or rock club in the mid to late 90s, you would hear the song “Closer”. People dancing, with their eyes closed, feeling the music, getting aroused. Because the lyrics are dark and steamy and the last minute or so, all you hear is the rhythm, and feel how it wanders through your body.

I think the most famous line: “I want to fuck you like an animal”, really says it all. But before you read the lyrics and listen to the song, let me share some random Trent Reznor trivia with you! He used to be Marilyn Manson’s best friend, until both Manson’s guitarist Twiggy and Reznor dated Courtney Love at the same time. That is when things blew up! Reznor has won Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes for his music. He suffers from mental health issues and a lot of his lyrics talk about depression, a dystopian and nihilistic view of the world, and self-destruction.

Okay, really now, if you were a 90s rock kid and you didn’t fuck to Nine Inch Nails’ Closer, I am not sure if you have really lived!
